Pathum Jayawardena

Pathum Jayawardena founded Millennium Imports with a vision to bring authentic Sri Lankan brands to Australian shelves. Originally from Weligama and educated at Richmond College, Galle, Pathum holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Peradeniya and is a UK-qualified CIMA member. He began his career as an Accounts Executive at Hirdaramani Industries before migrating to Australia with his wife in 2006.

Over the following decade, Pathum built a diverse career in Australian retail and automotive sales, working with KFC, Caltex and Toyota Australia, before launching his own business, Millennium Filling Pty Ltd, in 2015. What began as a single Caltex petrol station grew into a group of five service stations within two years. In 2018, drawing on his entrepreneurial drive and deep connection to his homeland, Pathum established Millennium Imports as a subsidiary of Millennium Filling, dedicated to bringing Sri Lanka's best-loved brands to Australia.
