Champika Jayawardena

Champika Jayawardena brings a rare combination of food science expertise and hands-on retail management experience to Millennium Imports. Raised in Galle and educated at Southlands College, Champika holds a degree in Agriculture, specialising in Food Science and Technology, from the University of Peradeniya, graduating with Second Class Honours. She began her career as a Management Trainee at Cargills Sri Lanka before moving into store management roles across Colombo.

In 2006, Champika relocated to Australia to complete her MBA at Central Queensland University in Sydney, later gaining further retail management experience with KFC and a role with the Australian Public Service. She joined Millennium Filling as a Director in 2015, and worked alongside her husband Pathum to establish Millennium Imports in 2018, where she continues to play a central role in the company's operations and growth.
